
Approaching the concept of the Sylvaanesh I want to embody a forest in the throughs of corruption, this isnt some fledgling infection yet to take root but a malign influence that took hold a long time ago and has now bloomed into a full rebellion. To embody this within the model there will be distinct Slaanesh features erupting through the wood of the core Sylvaneth models, design daemonic mutations that warp and reshape the forms to represent atleast similar silloheuttes to their original Slaanesh concepts.
The Corrupted Revenants:
Made from Daemonette and Tree Revenant kits
To be used as either Tree Revenants or Daemonettes depending on the game the core of these models is the Tree Revenant, it is already a model that embodies a blend of spirit and the physical and takes to conversion with the Daemonette parts remarkably well. Replacing the head and arm with spares from my partners Slaanesh army allows me to make a corrupted Revenant with comparative ease whilst still providing a visually distinct model.
Integrating the core theme of apples and skulls adorning the branches sporadically will then further reinforce how removed these tree sprites have become.
Kurnoth Defilers:
Made from Kurnoth Hunter and Melusai kits
To be used as either Kurnoth Hunters or Slaanesh Fiends
Still the envoys of the forest the aim with the Defilers will be to show stronger daemonic taint, they should bear some resemblance to smaller keeper of secrets with multiple arms brandishing a dizzying array of weapons of torture.
Bow Defilers will be made using the torso of Melusai erupting from the Kurnoth bodies, keeping the left bow wielding arm from the kurnoth hunter whilst the left more aelfen arm draws the arrow.
Sword and Halberd Defilers will instead lose the front of the Kurnoth hunters torso entirely, the Melusai having a rear carapace of wood supporting two additional pincer arms made from scything talons whilst their aelven arms instead bear a long spear into battle.
